Description
Overlay compatible SIGCLEAR-generated PostScript files or insert PostScript
annotation snippets at supported page positions. This is not a general-purpose
PDF/image compositor: input files need SIGCLEAR's expected page markers and
annotations must be valid PostScript accepted by the base figure.

Examples
1. Overlay two SIGCLEAR PostScript files on a base figure
sgoverlayps b.ps c.ps <a.ps >abc.psAll three files must use compatible SIGCLEAR PostScript content markers.
Inspect the combined pages, axes and clipping; arbitrary PostScript is not guaranteed.
2. Add an arrow to a SIGCLEAR PostScript figure
sgoverlayps '796 139 50 10 -130 20 arrow' <a.ps >arrow.psThe base file must define the arrow procedure; these are illustrative coordinates.
Quote the annotation so the shell passes it as one positional argument.
3. Add blue Helvetica text to a SIGCLEAR PostScript figure
sgoverlayps '/Helvetica findfont 10 scalefont setfont' \
'0 0 1 setrgbcolor' '720 80 moveto (SH50202527) show' <a.ps >text.psAnnotations are trusted literal PostScript, not shell commands or sanitized text.
Replace the illustrative label and coordinates and inspect the rendered result.
4. Add outlined and filled rectangles to a SIGCLEAR PostScript figure
sgoverlayps '425 225 10 40 rectstroke' '125 225 10 40 rectfill' <a.ps >rectangles.psRectangle arguments are x, y, width and height in the figure coordinate system.
Verify placement and clipping on the actual base figure.
